alsa-project/alsa-lib issue #240 was opened from salperinlea: This may play into a much larger issue I have been having with an Intel tiger lake soundcard, which cannot be activated after my machine has been suspended, but which always loads on boot. In an attempt to solve this error, I have tried to use alsactl restore, at which point I get the error: <code><pre> sudo alsactl restore alsa-lib parser.c:1194:(parse_sequence) error: sequence command 'devdisall' is ignored alsa-lib parser.c:1194:(parse_sequence) error: sequence command 'devdisall' is ignored </code></pre> I believe the reason that this repeats is that I have two soundcards; one is an Nvidia card, hard-wired to a dGPU and the HDMI port. [PATCH 00/13] ASoC: Intel: Chromebooks: remap jack pins

This patchset adds the missing jack pin remapping needed by upstream UCM on Chromebooks, suggested by Jaroslav Kysela [1]. These patches were succesfully tested on GeminiLake and JasperLake platforms, and generalized to other Chromebooks. [PATCH] ASoC: twl4030: Drop legacy, non DT boot support

Legacy or non DT boot is no longer possible on systems where the tw4030/5030 is used. Drop the support for handling legacy pdata and replace it with a local board_params struct to allow further cleanups on the mfd side. Hi, here is a small patch set for ALSA core rawmidi code to make the code a bit more robust, especially for the case where the exported functions get called from the external drivers. Currently most of those functions assume naively that they aren't called at a wrong timing. With the patch set, it tries to harden a bit not to hit serious breakage. Silent speaker on ThinkPad T14s Gen 2i

alsa-project/alsa-ucm-conf issue #171 was opened from joakim-tjernlund: Noted that speakers are silent and not sure when that happened. I note that pavucontrol shows sound playing on HDMI / Display port 2 (which is unplugged) when I test audio in MATE volume control. It seems that HDMI now is default even though it is unplugged ?
