[PATCH] ALSA: control_led - fix the stack usage (control element ops)

It's a bad idea to allocate big structures on the stack. Allocate the required structures on demand and cache them in the led structure. GCC warns that snd_ctl_led_get() uses stack frame over 1024 bytes. control_led.c: In function ‘snd_ctl_led_get’: control_led.c:128:1: warning: the frame size of 1504 bytes is larger than 1024 bytes [-Wframe-larger-than=] When taking care of convension in Linux kernel development. it's preferable to suppress too large usage of kernel stack, when the function call is not in critical part. This commit fixes the bug, including some minor code refactoring relevant to variable names. [PATCH v4] sound: rawmidi: Add framing mode

This commit adds a new framing mode that frames all MIDI data into 32-byte frames with a timestamp. The main benefit is that we can get accurate timestamps even if userspace wakeup and processing is not immediate. Testing on a Celeron N3150 with this mode has a max jitter of 2.8 ms, compared to the in-kernel seq implementation which has a max jitter of 5 ms during idle and much worse when running scheduler stress tests in parallel. And it is also supporting audio-graph-card2 base custom driver. [PATCH] ASoC: meson: axg-frddr: fix fifo depth on g12 and sm1

Previous fifo depth patch was only tested on axg, not g12 or sm1. Of course, while adding hw_params dai callback for the axg, I forgot to do the same for g12 and sm1, leaving the depth unset and breaking playback on these SoCs. Add hw_params callback to the g12 dai_ops to fix the problem. alsa-project/alsa-ucm-conf issue #87 was opened from kapouer: Hi, setup: > asus c201 (speedy veyron) > linux 5.10.28 or 5.11.13 > debian bullseye: alsa 1.2.4, asa-ucm-conf (and topology) installed, pulseaudio 14.2, gnome 3.38 on wayland what works: - jack input/output using headset problems: - speaker output is somewhat low even at 100% (feels like 50%) - microphone is so low that it cannot detect sound (smashing the mic hole with a stick is detected but barely audible) - last time i checked hdmi was working - i need to check again though What can i provide ? pulseaudio -vvvvvv ?
