[PATCH] ALSA: dice: add stream format parameters for Weiss devices

Hard-coded stream format parameters are added for Weiss Engineering FireWire devices. When the device vendor and model match, the parameters are copied into the stream format cache. This allows for setting all supported sampling rates up to 192kHz, and consequently adjusting the number of available I/O channels. this series converts all drivers below drivers/irqchip to use .remove_new(). See commit 5c5a7680e67b ("platform: Provide a remove callback that returns no value") for an extended explanation and the eventual goal. The TL;DR; is to make it harder for driver authors to leak resources. The drivers touched here are all fine though and don't return early in .remove(). So all conversions in this series are trivial. [PATCH v12 00/15] Add audio support in v4l2 framework

Audio signal processing also has the requirement for memory to memory similar as Video. This asrc memory to memory (memory ->asrc->memory) case is a non real time use case. User fills the input buffer to the asrc module, after conversion, then asrc sends back the output buffer to user. So it is not a traditional ALSA playback and capture case. It is a specific use case, there is no reference in current kernel. v4l2 memory to memory is the closed implementation, v4l2 current support video, image, radio, tuner, touch devices, so it is not complicated to add support for this specific audio case. Because we had implemented the "memory -> asrc ->i2s device-> codec" use case in ALSA. Now the "memory->asrc->memory" needs to reuse the code in asrc driver, so the first 3 patches is for refining the code to make it can be shared by the "memory->asrc->memory" driver. The main change is in the v4l2 side, A /dev/vl4-audioX will be created, user applications only use the ioctl of v4l2 framework. [PATCH] slimbus: core: Remove usage of the deprecated ida_simple_xx() API

ida_alloc() and ida_free() should be preferred to the deprecated ida_simple_get() and ida_simple_remove(). Note that the upper limit of ida_simple_get() is exclusive, but the one of ida_alloc_range() is inclusive. So change this change allows one more device. Previously address 0xFE was never used. Codec stops working after sleep and resume

can't find the source of the problem or a way to solve it. Is there anything I might be missing? I assume the problem is that it's trying to write to the registers after the suspend has happened, but I haven't been able to prove that either, and I wouldn't know how to fix that.
