PROBLEM: No sound on HP Firefly 14 G9 laptop

[1.] One line summary of the problem: No sound on HP Firefly 14 G9 [2.] Full description of the problem/report: Although the corresponding kernel module is loaded successfully and I can also see a sound output being produced on the software level (in gnome-control-center), physically there is still no sound coming out of the speakers. My HW card was identified with the code "0x103c" "0x896d", for which a patch was already submitted in the following commit: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/f86bfeb689f2c4ebe12782ef0578ef778f…. Unfortunately not working in my case. Also the patch identified the model as "HP Zbook Firefly 16 G9", however in my case the model is used "HP Zbook Firefly 14 G6" (14 not 16). Changes since v1 ================ 1. "common parts" -> "Common Properties". 2. Capitalize titles in other patches doing manual fixups. 3. Drop change of quotes in common DMA bindings. 4. Drop also "schema" from titles in few files. 5. Add tags. Merging ======= Intention is to regenerate the commits with commands at the end of merge window. This should go then via Rob's tree. Description =========== The Devicetree bindings document does not have to say in the title that it is a "Devicetree binding" or "schema', but instead just describe the hardware. We have several of such patterns, so when people copy existing bindings into new ones, they make similar mistake. Clean this stuff with: 1. Automated find+sed commands. 2. Manual updates to have something meaningful in the title. Currently, in cs35l41_hda driver, we use acpi_dev_get_first_match_dev to obtain the acpi_device used to obtain the properties and gpios. It is better to use the ACPI_COMPANION macro to do this, since it guarentees that we get the correct acpi_device for the device. However, the cs35l41_hda driver uses the serial-multi-instantiate driver to enumerate, and whilst the ACPI_CONPANION macro works with spi, it does not work with i2c. This is fixed by setting the fwnode for i2c. [PATCH v2 1/9] sound: sdw: Add hw_params to SoundWire config helper function

The vast majority of the current users of the SoundWire framework have almost identical code for converting from hw_params to SoundWire configuration. Whilst complex devices might require more, it is very likely that most new devices will follow the same pattern. Save a little code by factoring this out into a helper function. SoundWire clock base and scale registers are only supported for SDCA devices. That's fine, but that leaves SoundWire 1.2 with optional registers not supported. This is a corner case that needs to be supported. This series adds yet another set of cleanups a) all the helpers are now exposed as hw_ops callbacks b) the auxiliary device code is now completely generic. This will allow for easier introduction of new hw_ops implementations in the future without throwing away all the goodness of the auxiliary device handling. Since there will be a tighter coupling with HDaudio, it's likely that future hw_ops are implemented in the SOF driver directly.
