Since commit 49af54ff0fc7 ("misc: atmel-ssc: prepare clock only when request") the SSC driver expects clients to manage the SSC clock. This updates the at73c213 driver to enable the SSC clock whenever it is needed. [alsa-devel] Question about device recovery when under/over run error case

Hi Mark Our sound device needs recovery if under/over run error happen. Basically, this "recovery" means "restart hardware". But, in such case, who should recovers sound device, Kernel or Userland ? Current our sound driver recovers it by kernel automatically. (But I need do work more for it) We considered that userland should know it, or, run it by himself (?) If userland should do it, which function should be called to announce error to userland from kernel ?

Hi, these patches add an interface for Jyri's generic hdmi-codec driver [1] to the mediatek hdmi bridge driver. I have added an initial connector status event, made the hdmi bridge driver reuse the hdmi_codec_params that include the IEC958 channel state, included a fix to allow playback while HDMI is not connected, and added an ELD mixer control to the hdmi-codec driver. Hi, I was trying to build alsa-utils (lib built fine) but it seems stuck on libpanelw.
