This patch series adds support for mixer interfaces in USB audio class v2 devices. Successfully tested on a XMOS L1 eval kit. They apply on top of the topic/usb branch. There's a number significant differences between v1 and v2 implementations, which the patches itself may explain best :) I moved most quirks out into a seperate file, and hope you agree that it's cleaner that way. Most descriptors are now parsed with structs which makes the code more readable. However, there are quite some descriptors with variable field lengths so they can't be mapped into structs. I introduces some macros to access these fields. Again, please test this with v1 devices, as I can't be entirely confident that I didn't break anything in the transition. [alsa-devel] [PATCH] driver-core: Add device node pointer to struct device

Currently, platforms using CONFIG_OF add a 'struct device_node *of_node' to dev->archdata. However, with CONFIG_OF becoming generic for all architectures, it makes sense for commonality to move it out of archdata and into struct device proper. This patch adds a struct device_node *of_node member to struct device and updates all locations which currently write the device_node pointer into archdata to also update dev->of_node. Subsequent patches will modify callers to use the archdata location and ultimately remove the archdata member entirely. struct of_platform_driver unnecessarily duplicates the .owner and .name fields from the encapsulated struct device_driver. This patch series goes through all of_platform drivers and makes it use the device_driver instance so that the duplicate field can be removed. Since every of_platform_driver is getting touched anyway, this series takes the opportunity to also move the of_device_id match table out of struct of_platform_driver and into struct device_driver proper. This makes it possible for all bus types to make use of OF-style binding when CONFIG_OF is set. I've compile tested this on sparc, powerpc and microblaze. However, the current soc-core doesn't support simultaneous codecs, once that support will have added, a patch will be posted to enable both codecs in the DM365 EVM. Hi All, Just to add to my previous post. This problem of underrun is happening towards the end of the short audio. This causes unclear sound.This underrun is not happening with regular music (long duration audio). ALSA version:1.0.18a Regards, anish

The following changes since commit 57d54889cd00db2752994b389ba714138652e60c: Linus Torvalds (1): Linux 2.6.34-rc1 are available in the git repository at: git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/broonie/sound-2.6.git for-2.6.35 Nothing terribly exciting in here yet, driver updates and minor things. The biggest block is the updats to the Samsung CPU drivers. Build testing has been limited by the fact that several of the machines I usually use fail to build with mainline at the minute (I have posted fixes) but the changes are fairly non-invasive.
