Background--Yesterday was the first alsa-driver unstable in a while. It did not compile with my kernel and I notified this list. Yesterday afternoon late there were some updates including a new (I think) alsa-tools. (It might have been alsa-utils.) After that, the 08-Apr drivers compiled. There was another Ubuntu 2.6.28-11 kernel released this morning. After downloading /installing that the 08-Apr unstable snapshot no longer compiles. (I tried both ./configure && make AND ./gitcompile) I don't know if this information is useful to you, or even if alsa-driver-unstable is supposed to compile with the 28 kernel. No need to respond. Hi All , I am working on ARM 926EJ-S Application baseboard . The board has a LM4549 codec connected through an AACI prime cell . I am running Linux 2.6.26.5 on this board and the requirement now is to have an ogg vorbis player running on the board , I am planning to use ogg123 for the same purpose , but it requires ALSA driver on the board . Hello, This series adds support for four channel DSP_A or DSP_B on omap-mcbsp and four channel support for the twl4030 codec (in Option1). Constrains added to deal with the channel count in twl4030 codec driver. As an example, the board file for Beagle is modified to add support for stereo and TDM mode depending on the stream's channel count, so the stereo and the four channel mode are supported on Beagle. Is there a patch that I can test out for the latest imac. At the moment I have no sound in either external/internal speakers. Add powerdown sequence for VREF using a shared jack when the headphone is present and the microphone isn't on.
