I am trying to get HDMI audio output via a Lenovo Dock Ultra in combination with a Lenovo Thinkpad X260.

When plugging the HDMI device (screen) directly into the laptop, audio output can be selected in pavucontrol / Configuration, but when the laptop is connected via the dock all the HDMI devices appear as unplugged.

I have googled a bit and found a similar case for T430: http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.linux.alsa.user/36896 and checking the source code of snd_hda_intel it seems that options snd-hda-intel model=lenovo-dock should help, but indeed it didn't.

I am running Debian/sid, on today's git kernel (4.9.0-rc5+).

I attach the output of alsa-info.

Please let me know whether I can try some more tweaks.
