I've reviewed all new DMIC related patches and on my behalf I recommend 
to apply the v4 set.

This question was about making test pipelines and it's now clear how the 
number of channels is customized in the topology m4 notation. We will 
contribute later more examples with different number of channels and 
capture sample rates.
