[alsa-devel] Problems recording with HP DV2839TX laptop.

There is no "Mic Boost" that i can see in either section of alsamixer. There 
are only the "Docking/External/Internal Mic" controls. Which, in the CAPTURE 
section of alsamixer, do nothing. In the PLAYBACK section, the 'External Mic' 
control seems to adjust gain/volume. But im using the INTERNAL mic that this 
laptop has. So something very strange is going on.

Mic capture as such, works on 1.0.16 and above, but with ALOT of static in the 
recording. Attached is a 5 second test recording.
