Ok, doing as you wish. There is no useable Documentation for this Notebook, because ist seems to work with "great Vista", all I could find is a Guide for installing the internal Microphone under Vista.
I'll attach 3 files,
-The Vista guide
-The Alsa-Info output
-The dmesg output

Could you email me directly the alsa-info.txt file that the alsa-info.sh script generated? It should be in your /tmp directory. Also, if you have a user's manual in pdf form for your system, please attach it as well (english version). This may gleen some info about the specs of your system that may have been overlooked, especially the mic.

The last bit I'd like you to do, if you are up for it, is to rebuild the drivers with debugging turned on. To do this, download alsa-driver-1.0.15.tar.bz2 and extract it. Then, in the directory it extracted to, type "./configure --with-debug=detect --with-cards=hda-intel && make && make install". When you load this driver, set model=auto. This will dump the bios configuration for the card (if any) into dmesg. I need that output as well.

I'll try to work on this this week, but no guarantees. We had some serious flooding this last weekend, and I'm busy fixing my house.

Based on the info below, I'll need to create a separate model for your system. It may take a few patches, but it will happen.
