Hi Curtis,
My presentation at LinuxCon Lund is the closest document I have.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BybszUG3ewMxQ3pzWmcxOWs5OE1TZ29ITGJ6NDlXVGYwTXpB/view
It does have a brief worklist of things needed to introduce
a new platform to SOF starting at slide 8.
Please have a look.
What new platform do you have in mind? If host is x86/arm
and DSP is from Xtensa I think with current SOF implementation
basic bringup should be straightforward.
Hope this helps,
Daniel.

Subject: New platform bringup docs
Hello SOF community,
Do we have any documents similar to the new architecture links
(https://eur01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fthesofproject.github.io%2Flatest%2Farchitectures%2Fdsp%2Findex.html%23adding-a-new-dsp-architecture-to-sof&data=02%7C01%7Cdaniel.baluta%40nxp.com%7C45be836148a843f3e1f308d70589037e%7C686ea1d3bc2b4c6fa92cd99c5c301635%7C0%7C0%7C636983958335917799&sdata=X0PznRSpz9CyAcITMpDGmQHbscVpQmSU2NuWtLsSMY0%3D&reserved=0)
but more advanced. I was thinking ideally something along the lines of
a check/worklist of features to be built for introducing a new
platform to SOF. Daniel you have done this, do you have any documents
or experiences that we can turn into a doc?
Thanks in advance.
Curtis
