Hi Jie,

Yes. I found git at github.com:thesofproject/crosstool-ng.git there. 
But it cannot execute the step ./ct-ng xtensa-byt-elf, which was originally in https://github.com/01org/osadsp-crosstool-ng.

Please correct me anything wrong or missing?

I think Liam made a typo there, it should be git at github.com:thesofproject/crosstool-ng.git what you needs.

Hi Liam, what Long is requiring is a tag for crosstool-ng repo, I think we don't have sof-v1.2 for that atm.
