Well, the kernel stack trace shows the completely irrelevant code path
from the sound driver; it's about i915 graphics, then blow up the
rest. It might be some memory corruption and its side-effect, but
it's difficult to judge only from the given information.
You may try to enable some more kernel debug options (distros often
provide such kernel packages). If we are lucky, it may catch
something wrong beforehand.
