I tried this by adding the following line to
/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf:
options snd-hda-intel power_save_controller=0
and after a reboot, I still get the same pops on suspend and resume. Is
there some way to check dynamically whether the settings of the driver
match what's configured here?
