[alsa-devel] Problem with ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Device 8398

Hello

I'm using Ubuntu Karmic on a Asus T91 netbook.
The sounds works except for the internal MIC so I have installed
linux-backports-modules-alsa-karmic-generic
(linux-backports-modules-alsa-2.6.31-15-generic).
Now the problem is that unpredictably the sound stop working, that is, the
apps play but no sound is really played.
Looking at dmesg reveals lots of errors (see below). lspci output is also
attached.

Should I provice more information?
Any devel version I can use/test?
