The values listed in /sys/class/sound/hw*/init_pin_configs are the
currently used pins.  But, this is updated only at the configuration
time, that is, either the module loading time or after you trigger
the reconfigure.

After the reconfigure, you must see the kernel messages with the
new configuration, i.e. the pin detection messages with the pin
configs you've set.
