I'm not sure what Rob's way of determining "same hardware" was, but since you
din't include the SSID for the sound device, I'm guessing he went by laptop
model or sound card model, neither of which is terribly accurate/useful (one
laptop model may come with 15 different sound card models over the years, and
each of those may see 3 revisions, for example). Where's your alsa-info.sh
output?
