Interesting, I tested a Clevo M720R yesterday with a recent ALSA
snapshot and it worked correctly (HP detection and all) prior to
applying this patch. I'll recheck this, but I believe this patch might
be not entirely necessary.

I didn't test recording extensively. Miura, did you notice any
problems in mic input?
