[Sound-open-firmware] New platform bringup docs
Hello SOF community,
Do we have any documents similar to the new architecture links (https://thesofproject.github.io/latest/architectures/dsp/index.html#adding-a...) but more advanced. I was thinking ideally something along the lines of a check/worklist of features to be built for introducing a new platform to SOF. Daniel you have done this, do you have any documents or experiences that we can turn into a doc?
Thanks in advance.
Curtis
Hi Curtis,
My presentation at LinuxCon Lund is the closest document I have.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BybszUG3ewMxQ3pzWmcxOWs5OE1TZ29ITGJ6NDlXVGY...
It does have a brief worklist of things needed to introduce
a new platform to SOF starting at slide 8.
Please have a look.
What new platform do you have in mind? If host is x86/arm
and DSP is from Xtensa I think with current SOF implementation
basic bringup should be straightforward.
Hope this helps,
Daniel.

Unfortunately I can't comment on that right now.
