Not necessarily to be so fine grained. The point is that commenting out multiple lines of codes is a bad style. For disabling multiple lines of codes, use #if 0 or #ifndef XXX or whatever.

Good spot on the formats array - I guess I didn't have any soundcards with more than 5 formats but you're right it needs to be increased now.
I'll have a look at fixing these in the weekend and resubmitting.
