Hi!

I try to change mixer and mute/unmute channel.

I upgrade ubuntu from 8.10 to 9.04.

I download/compile/install last alsa driver.

I add in my modprob.conf this lines : options snd-hda-intel model=3stack-dig alias snd-card-0 snd-hda-intel alias sound-slot-0 snd-hda-intel alias sound-slot-0 snd-card-0 alias sound-service-0-0 snd-mixer-oss alias sound-service-0-1 snd-seq-oss alias sound-service-0-3 snd-pcm-oss alias sound-service-0-8 snd-seq-oss alias sound-service-0-12 snd-pcm-oss

that's all.

What is the next step ?

Also, describe what actually you have tried and what didn't work precisely.  "ABC doesn't work" is too ambiguous to investigate.
