That's probably not even directly audio related but rather from core DMA changes (though perhaps the driver is buggy). When akpm forwards stuff to the lists he tend to include the entire report and CC bugzilla - that's generally more helpful in getting responses since people don't need to click on a link or anything.

Yeah, he used it in the past, but I haven't seen it since kernel.org restructuring. Did you see his recent forward bugzilla post?

I've seen them relatively recently I think, I don't pay a huge amount of attention though.

Interesting for sure. I'm running currently 3.13-rc1+ but not rc2 + my twl6040 reg_cache patches. I don't have issues with audio. I try mainline tomorrow to see what happened.
