[alsa-devel] [PATCH v2] ASoC: max98357a: request GPIO when device get probed
devm_gpiod_get_optional() returns EBUSY after component rebound.
Request GPIO in max98357a_platform_probe() to support component rebinding.
Signed-off-by: Tzung-Bi Shih tzungbi@google.com --- v1: ASoC: max98357a: manage GPIO for component rebinding => don't move from devm to non-devm (https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/10922979/)
v2: ASoC: max98357a: release GPIO when component removing => only put things that really need the card in component's probe() => don't use devm_gpiod_put() if possible (https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/10932279/)
v3: ASoC: max98357a: request GPIO when device get probed => remove empty function max98357a_component_probe() and max98357a_platform_remove() (https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/10936239/)

The patch
ASoC: max98357a: request GPIO when device get probed
has been applied to the asoc tree at
https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/broonie/sound.git for-5.3
All being well this means that it will be integrated into the linux-next tree (usually sometime in the next 24 hours) and sent to Linus during the next merge window (or sooner if it is a bug fix), however if problems are discovered then the patch may be dropped or reverted.
You may get further e-mails resulting from automated or manual testing and review of the tree, please engage with people reporting problems and send followup patches addressing any issues that are reported if needed.
If any updates are required or you are submitting further changes they should be sent as incremental updates against current git, existing patches will not be replaced.
Please add any relevant lists and maintainers to the CCs when replying to this mail.
Thanks, Mark
