hi all, i am working on ubuntu 10.04 and my kernel verison is 2.6.32.24 sound is not working on my system. i have tried toomany links on web but some while proceeding show error and some does not work. can anyone please help me to fix this bug?

The appropriate course of action is to use "ubuntu-bug alsa-base".
