Re: [alsa-devel] ALSA 1.0.23 Kernel Panic in snd_hda_codec_idt:stac92xx_add_jack
All:
I am seeing a kernel panic with ALSA Drivers 1.0.23 in snd_hda_codec_idt:stac92xx_add_jack on my Dell Studio 1737 running stock CentOS 5.4. Before I file a bug report I just wanted to make sure that you did not already have a patch for this problem. Please see the attached .jpg for the trace. I took a picture as this is a hard failure with a backtrace (keyboard blinks).
Best Regards,

Which kernel version is it? Also, any chance to see more lines? It'd be helpful if you can narrow down the position it oopses...
thanks,
Takashi
CentOS 5.4 with 2.6.18-164.15.1.el5 kernel
I will try to get you more lines ASAP.
