I am wondering if there is still work being done on a driver for the Steinberg Midex 8. I found a message from May 2007 by Norman Schleicher that midi out is working. I had given up hope on this long ago, and am excited at the possiblity of using my Midex in linux.

I would love to have even a partially working driver to play with.
