[alsa-devel] [PATCH 0/7] ASoC: simple-card: add parse_clk / parse_dai
Hi Mark
These add parse_clk / parse_dai to simple utiles. I know that we want to use "devm_" version of of_clk_get(), and now I'm posting its patch to kernel ML, but it still under discussion. Thus, this patch is using current style (with small fixup). I will replace it to devm version if it was accepted.

Current simple-card can get clock via DT clocks or "system-clock-frequency" property. This patch makes it simple style standard

The patch
ASoC: rsrc-card: use asoc_simple_card_parse_clk()
has been applied to the asoc tree at
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/broonie/sound.git
All being well this means that it will be integrated into the linux-next tree (usually sometime in the next 24 hours) and sent to Linus during the next merge window (or sooner if it is a bug fix), however if problems are discovered then the patch may be dropped or reverted.
You may get further e-mails resulting from automated or manual testing and review of the tree, please engage with people reporting problems and send followup patches addressing any issues that are reported if needed.
If any updates are required or you are submitting further changes they should be sent as incremental updates against current git, existing patches will not be replaced.
Please add any relevant lists and maintainers to the CCs when replying to this mail.
Thanks, Mark

Thank you. But it seems you are missing [1/7] patch, but applied [2/7], [3/7] patches. This is the reason why current topic/simple branch has build error, and you couldn't apply [4/7] patch.

I noticed that These patches + fix/simple + topic/simple will have conflict. I think we want to avoid conflict, so, I will repost these patches. It will be based on fix/simple + topic/simple.

The patch
ASoC: simple-card: use asoc_simple_card_parse_dai()
has been applied to the asoc tree at
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/broonie/sound.git
