Re: [alsa-devel] Problems regarding alsa-info.sh
Sorry for the quick 2nd post, but ive just been thinking about this.. If we can patch the GIT version with the patch i just emailed, and temporarily put that same file (version 0.4.46) into the HG repo (even if it has to be entered manually) then current script users will get the new script (which contains the new URLs). That will solve half the problem.
Then we just need a friendly URL to post in wikis etc.
Ive setup a very temporary tinyurl page.. http://tinyurl.com/5bz98h
Seems to work ok, but we want something more perm, and more professional looking, really.

Well, unfortunately the HG is blocked and I cannot update it any more... If this is once updated, then yes, it'll be a good workaround.
Anyway I'll update the GIT version first.
thanks,
Takashi

Does anyone have the power to update it, just for this one thing ? Im take it the repo is still up, just not active.
Thanks again, Travis Place

I'll switch the script to new repo and redirect old URL to new location tomorrow. I'm busy with other things today.

As promised, things are clear and maintainable again, now.
The "official" URLs for download and changelog are:
http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-info.sh http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-info.sh.changelog
They are redirected on ALSA server to real (but no so nice) URLs to alsa-driver.git repo.

That's good. Thanks!
