[alsa-devel] [PATCH] MAINTAINERS: Add entry for Cirrus CODEC drivers
From: Mark Brown broonie@linaro.org
I noticed that some recent patches hadn't been CCed to the Cirrus people - add an entry in MAINTAINERS to help make that happen.
Signed-off-by: Mark Brown broonie@linaro.org ---
Brian, Paul - are you OK with this?

Yeah, that's a good idea.
Thanks Mark
I am ok with it.

Go ahead and remove me as maintainer of the CS4270 driver, if you guys want. I don't have access to that hardware any more, and so I really can't maintain it.

I do have hardware, but it will take me some time to test more intrusive patches. If nobody else volunteers, I'd take it.
Thanks, Daniel

I would like to take it. I have all of the hardware to test patches.
Thanks, Paul

It should already be included in the general Cirrus CODEC thing that triggered the thread, this would be an extra thing for this CODEC in particular.

The easiest fix is to remove my entry from MAINTAINERS.

Yup. If you want to send a patch that's fine (if a shame), or Daniel if you want to put your name down then a patch for that? I guess send your patch and then I'll apply it if nobody else steps up beyond the overall Cirrus entry.

Let Paul take it. Provided his interest in supporting these drivers, it's probably best if there's one person for all of them :)
Thanks, Daniel
