I went through the commits, most of them pointing to launchpad, where the PCI ID is easily available. I'm also attaching my notes in case it is helpful for anyone. Seeing that note list, we should probably also set "VT1708/A [Azalia HDAC] (VIA High Definition Audio Controller) [1106:3288] (rev 10)" to use LPIB as well.
