Such a big patch cannot be merged to the upstream without a proper sign-off. I mailed Rainer again but no response yet, unfortunately.

Rainer doesn't reply to email for a long time, is there any way to somebody else sign-off his driver? Maybe he has some trouble, it will be big waste if his driver will be foredoomed.
I made simply update of his patch, so it can be merge with alsa-driver-1.0.17
