symptom: When connected via USB, the device's lcd displays "USB ON LINE" which never disappears. Sound still goes through the device but the interface (knobs, buttons) don't react any more. On the computer, the sound device gets listed, but it cannot be opened.
Please show the output of "lsusb -v" for this device.
