Which can be fixed by the following patch.
This alone isn't enough. You need to replace all codec->spdif_mutex in the control get/put/info/tlv callbacks in hda_codec.c. Otherwise there is no meaning of the mutex. The mutex is to protect the rewrite of kcontrol->private_value dynamically.
