[alsa-devel] Event or signal for microphone connect/disconnect

Hi,

I have 2 microphones on my laptop: 1 pluggable on the mic port and 1 on the surface . Is there any way to receive events/signal that the microphone on the mic port is connected/disconnected.

I want to implement this feature in a recording program.
