Umm! That info is misleading! Thanks for the clarification Takashi. I tested this in Vista and it's also not working so that's fine.
Now I noticed every time I reboot sound is muted. Is this a bug?
Also, can you make a release so Ubuntu and other distro can update to fix bugs such as: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/427670
