Today I've noticed that this patch got merged to linux-next as commit 62d5ae4cafb7ffeeec6ba2dd1814cafeeea7dd8f. Sadly it breaks codec operation on some Samsung Exynos SoC based boards: Odroid U3, XU, XU3 and Chromebook Peach-Pit/Pi. I get the following errors during boot:

The only strange thing is that Chromebook Snow, which also use this codec boots fine.
