Dear all,
The ardour-users mailing list mehtions that there is a new USB-ID to be found from focusrite:
1235:8004 is the 18i6.

As I don't have this specific hardware I cannot help with the testing but I thought I can at least report this thanking the alsa programmers as the focusrite scarlett I have at home works like a charm on linux.
