I don't think the gpiolib dependency is needed here. If gpiolib is not enabled then stubs are provided which cause all the functions to error out. Since the driver doesn't require gpios to be specified at all this should be fine for the purposes of SND_SOC_ALL_CODECS - it's really only looking for a build test.

I suspect that for PDM you're as well just ignoring the format here and leaving it up to the controller side of the link to worry about it.
