Btw, did you manage to test build/run on most of the architectures ? I remember this was one of the difficulties I had when doing the initial multi-component support (before linux-next could build all the architectures).
0day will tell us if there's a problem (or we can fix it up after if it doesn't).
About testing, I have tested it on Renesas boards, but I couldn't for non-Renesas boards unfortunately. About building, I used x86 + allyesconfig. Some drivers can't be selected/compiled by it. Thus, I created local patch for it. So, about compiling, it should be OK for all drivers. About running, I hope it is OK, but yes, we will have some problem on some platform. That is the reason why I don't post codec/platform remove patch yet.
