No.
For making the headphone working, you don't need any jack detection, in general. You can disable the auto-mute mode. And, at best, avoid PulseAudio for the basic testing in this level.
If both headphone and speaker don't work even with the statically enabled routing, I have no idea what's wrong. You really need to ping ASUS for a better help. It's vendor-specific things, after all.

Internal speakers are muted Headphones and external speakers connected via JACK output combo are muted . Even with `options snd_hda_intel index=0 model=dell-headset-multi` custom flag
