From: Krzysztof Helt krzysztof.h1@wp.pl
Old Soundscape cards (pre PnP) work only with AD1848 codecs. If the CS4231 codec is installed it must be used in AD1848 compatible mode.
Also, add gameport support and remove an unused mpu field.
Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Helt krzysztof.h1@wp.pl --- Even more OSS code moved into the alsa. I have tested it on early SPEA Media FX card. The only problem is that MIDI playback is not played timely. However, I observe this problem on cards with OPL4 chipset and Dream chipset. I assume it is more general problem with mpu401 and MIDI playback.
If Theodore Allen test this on Ensoniq Soundscape card the OSS sscape driver can be removed.
