Sorry, I haven't been able to find time, and probably' won't until next week.
In any case, I think all patches deserve testing in the -next tree.
So, do you recommend to merge this stuff into 3.16? Then I can queue them up to for-next branch. That is, we have ca two weeks to fix things before hitting to the upstream.
