[alsa-devel] snd-hda-intel + pc-speaker regression since kernel 2.6.35

Hello all, Sorry for bringing up this topic again but in my case a working speaker is needed for accessiblity puposes.

The internal pc speaker of my samsung n140 netbook worked since kernel version 2.6.34. Tested with 2.6.35/36 no pc speaker works and I see no beep control in alsamixer Today I've installed a fresh 2.6.38 kernel with same results. It would be really nice if some of you could fix this!

alsamixer shows the following: Card: HDA Intel F1: Help Chip: Realtek ALC269 F2: System information Attached you find the output of alsa-info. My snd-hda-intel is build into the kernel. There no output of loaded alsa modules. BR. Halim
