Yes.

I put this into my ~/.asoundrc:

pcm.test { type plug slave { pcm "hw:0" channels 2 } </home/cladisch/my-ttable.conf> }

and this into ~/my-ttable.conf:

ttable [ [ 0 1 ] [ 1 0 ] ]

and it works.
