I wonder if I could actually get away with pushing it through the avr32 tree, as this is one of the two architectures the driver is relevant to (the other one being arm) and there are lots of special-case stuff in misc already.
It would be nice to see some general comments on it though. Cc'ing some AT91 folks might help.
