The changes are in latest sound tree/alsa-driver snapshot (ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/tiwai/snapshot/alsa-driver- snapshot.tar.gz). I don't know about alsa-upgrade script.
Also, now my headphones no longer work... And my speaker light on the keyboard seems to malfunction.. Any idea about those?
You tested with latest alsa-driver snapshot, and stopped to work there?
