I'll start with my analysis of my compiler errors that I get. Seems that the struct snd_soc_codec and struct snd_soc_codec_driver were removed. Seems that snd_soc_register_codec() and snd_soc_unregister_codec() were removed. What replaces these things? What do I need to change to accommodate the removal of these?

Here's my driver code. The macro INCLUDE_PROBLEMATIC_CODE is used around each chuck that fails to compile. If not defined, the code does compile, but of course is missing important parts.
