It gets compile errors like below. Please submit a patch at least after build testing.
I do actually compile all my patches before submitting them. Since the change is minor I use make M=sound/pci. My second patch is based on your compile errors. Kindly let me know how do you compile the patch to avoid breaking your system in the future.
Did you set CONFIG_SND_DEBUG_VERBOSE=y? Otherwise it makes no sense, obviously.
