This patch added a device property for HW debounce time control. We could change this value to tune the sensitivity of push button. Hi, Devices in MOTU FireWire series uses source packet header (SPH) in IEC 61883-1 for each data block in CIP. The devices have a mode to use the series of SPH for generating sampling clock. This patchset supports the above mechanism. Additionally, this patchset also supports MOTU UltraLite which adopts protocol version 2. My problem in one line: I upgraded my Ubuntu Disco (kernel 4.13) to Ubuntu Eoan (kernel 5.3.19) and I can report my SaffireLE / Firewire doesnt work anymore, snd-bebob reports "discontinuity of CIP" on dmesg... At startup it lights green ok, but no sound is playable, then the lights turn orange (like it is when it's not working), I hear a "relay sound" (a electric clic of a relay), then, the Saffire LE disapears from the sound menu in Ubuntu sound menu. alsa-project/alsa-utils pull request #31 was opened from takaswie: Axfer internally has the waiter abstraction for polling system call. This is used without explicit timeout for IRQ-based scheduling model. As a result, axfer process is corrupted to be blocked due to a call of polling system call when transmission backend has a bug to queue PCM event in I/O thread or hardware IRQ context. This patchset implements error reporting for such buggy backend. When call of polling system call returns with timeout, axfer reports it as a bug. The timeout is equivalent to the size of buffer.
